Complete with 39 maps and plans, some with contemporary outline colouring, most double page, one folding. Contemporary full leather, richly decorated with a combination of blind-stamped and in gilt decorations framing a men’s bust bearing “shield with a gold chevron between three stags” arms, marbled edges. Label of the St Paul’s school on paste down end-paper dated “5th July 1826”. External wear along joints and edges and hinges. Restored. Fine condition inside.
