Including Sophocles’ tragedies Aias, Electra & Antigone and Aeschylus’ Prometheus Bound, all with separate title pages. Text in original Greek with parallel translation in Latin. Contemporary finely blind-stamped vellum on wooden boards bearing the date “1568” on front board. Ex-libris manuscript signature and date “1641”. Contemporary handwritten notes to Aiax title page, occasional underlining, restoration of joint between pp.952-953. Collated with the copy of the Ghent University.
