Five (5) rare and beautiful editions of Saint Augustinus works, printed in 1534, in Venice by Giovanni Padovano and Venturino Ruffinelli. Title within fine wood engraved borders. Printer’s mark “phoenix regenerated from flames” is presented in a small format on the upper part of the title page and in a large format on the last leaf of each work. Later binding: calf on spine with blind-stamped decorations and title in gilt. Unnumbered leaves [32] (A-D8), [64] (A-H8), [24] (A-C8), [48] (A-F8), [36] (A-D8 E4). Handwritten captions on title page of the third and last works (one dated 1777), some sheets with marginalia, mostly light signs of marginal water-stain more evident on the third book.
