Double weight EL from "ΣΥΡΟΣ*30.ΜΑΙΟΣ.62" fr. with 20l. sky-blue and 40l. mauve on blue (both stamps very strong relief), via "ΑΘΗΝΑΙ*31.ΜΑΙΟΣ.62", arr. "ΚΑΛΑΜΑΙ*3.ΙΟΥΝ.62" (60l.= double French ship rate). 30.5.1862 IS THE EARLIEST KNOWN DATE FOR CONSECUTIVE ATHENS PRINTINGS 40l. STAMP (see Hellas vol.I-page 41). An outstanding item. VF and RRRR. (Hellas 19A+20IA).
