Entire letter written "Καβάλλα τήν 2 Μαίου 1848" (Cavalla) to Syra. Oval cahcet "ΥΠΕΡΘΑΛΑΣΣΙΑ" on arrival and canc. "ΣΥΡΑ*17.ΜΑΙΟΣ.1848". Also "ΥΓΕΙΟΝΟΜΕΙΟΝ ΣΥΡΟΥ" (half strike due to flap open). Fine and scarce.
